One of the biggest nightmares for mothers who are aware of the importance of proper nutrition in the development of our children, is the food offered at children’s parties.
Offering foods loaded with sugar, dyes, processed, flour and soda seems to be immersed in our western culture. Basically, the day of our birthday everything is allowed, but this has some problems.
It is no accident that after a birthday party full of junk food, our children are in a bad mood, tired and do not want to brush their teeth. Sometimes they get sick and even get upset for several days, as a result of the dyes and stimulants they consumed at the birthday party.
A cake, some sweets and some cookies, have nothing wrong as long as they are made at home or come from some source where we know they used quality ingredients. The message we want to give you is that YES, it is possible to place fun and flashy foods for them and easy to prepare for you, without the need to intoxicate the body of our children.
For some reason, mothers tend to make birthdays around food, when children are actually more concerned about what happens at the party than about food. There comes a point where, from playing so much, they simply take whatever is available at the table to recharge and continue playing.
It is also important to take into consideration, that not because the birthday party is healthy, we must spend a fortune and leave life in it.
To give you some ideas, we share with you 6 things that are not missing in my children’s birthday and are easy to do if you plan the menu beforehand.
